As part of our commitment to supporting micro-enterprises, we proudly organized the joint seminar titled “Empowering Workplaces: Understanding Labor Standards, Occupational Safety, and Technical Advisory for Micro Enterprises” on February 25, 2025, at JVJ Hotel, Diversion Road, Bolbok, Batangas City.
The seminar was conducted in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), and the Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG). This collaboration aimed to provide essential knowledge and guidance to micro-enterprises regarding compliance with labor laws, the promotion of workplace safety, and the optimization of employee benefits.
The primary objective of this seminar was to assist micro-enterprises in understanding the legal frameworks that protect their workers and to guide them in establishing safer workplaces. By sharing relevant information, we aim to support these businesses in enhancing their compliance, safety standards, and overall employee welfare.
During the seminar, our esteemed speakers from DOLE, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG presented valuable information on several critical topics:
